Driver charged with multiple DWIs after September crash in Floyd

FLOYD, N.Y. — Shauna Broadbent, 34, of Holland Patent, was arrested on Nov. 23 by the STOP DWI Unit following a two-car accident on Sept. 14 in the Town of Floyd.

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, Broadbent was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse when she collided with a 2019 Toyota Tacoma driven by William Spinelli, 29, of Syracuse. The crash occurred at the intersection of Koenig Rd. and New Floyd Rd. after Broadbent failed to stop at a stop sign.

Broadbent was transported to WYNN Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while Spinelli was evaluated on scene…
