CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Cloudy skies and foggy conditions kickoff the holiday week with dense fog throughout the morning.
A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10 AM on Monday.
Some scattered showers may occur this morning, but rain is more likely later this afternoon into the evening and overnight.
Highs on Monday will be in the mid 50s, with lows only in the low to mid 40s.
A few showers will persist into Tuesday morning. Cloud cover will remain through Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs reaching the mid 50s.
Temperatures will drop significantly as a cold front passes through Tuesday night. Lows Tuesday night will be in the upper 20s. Wednesday’s high will only reach the mid 30s.
The cold front will also bring stronger winds, with speeds between 20 and 30 mph and gusts over 30 mph.
