Governor Mike Kehoe has selected two new members to serve on the 22nd Judicial Circuit, filling vacancies created by recent retirements in the court.
Brooke Hurst of St. Louis has been appointed as an associate circuit judge. Hurst currently works as an assistant prosecuting attorney in St. Louis County and participates in several professional organizations, including the Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater St. Louis, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and the Lawyers Association of St. Louis. She also teaches as an adjunct professor at Washington University School of Law. Her academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and sciences from the University of Illinois, Urbana, Champaign and a Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law.
