A broad area of showers and thunderstorms is spreading across the region as a low-pressure system moves east. While most storms will remain below severe limits, brief heavy rain, lightning, and gusty winds are possible through this evening — especially south of I-44 and near the Arkansas border.

The National Weather Service in Tulsa reports a limited flood risk across parts of southeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas, where repeated rounds of rain may bring 1–2 inches of rainfall by Tuesday morning.
