Junction City school district faces lawsuit over alleged teacher misconduct

JUNCTION CITY, Ore. – A former student of the Junction City School District has filed a lawsuit alleging sexual misconduct by a teacher.

The lawsuit, filed on Nov. 17, accuses a teacher, identified as Mike Shultz, of child sexual battery, premises liability, and negligence. It seeks $750,000 in damages and requests a jury trial. Shultz has not been charged with a crime and is not currently listed in the high school’s staff directory.
