More than a week after a San Francisco native vanished in the Nevada desert, search teams are pushing deeper into remote canyons west of Las Vegas, hoping for a break in a case that has alarmed friends and family across the country.
Eugene “Gene” Gragg, 34, a Brooklyn resident and employee at a Bay Area AI startup, was last heard from on Nov. 16. Their final known location was near Lovell Canyon, an isolated stretch of public land edging the Rainbow Mountain Wilderness.
