On October 27, troopers responded to The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Barnwell facility on Church Street in Valatie after receiving a report regarding missing narcotic medications. The ensuing investigation conducted by State Police and the Department of Health’s Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement determined that Jubic allegedly stole the drugs while working at the health center as a registered nurse, resulting in her being taken into custody on November 19.
Jubic was charged with first-degree falsifying business records, fraud and deceit related to controlled substances, and petit larceny. She was released after being arraigned and is slated to appear in Kinderhook Town Court on December 16.
