Sporting apparel company Fanatics has announced plans to permanently close its Oak Creek distribution center in Riverview, Florida. The closure, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act notice dated Nov. 14, is scheduled for July 31, 2026. The facility, which is located near Tampa, employs 286 people, all of whom will be affected by the closure. The first wave of terminations is set to begin on March 1, with the layoffs continuing until the closing date.
