Man killed while ‘lying in roadway’ in High Point identified; suspect cited

HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — Police have identified the man who was hit and killed in a hit-and-run in High Point last week.

On Friday at 6:27 p.m., the HPPD, High Point Fire Department and Guilford County EMS responded to a crash involving a pedestrian on Dillon Road at Bales Chapel Road.

Police say Ostin Roca, 26, died at the scene.
