CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – The Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office is preparing holiday baskets for their annual Holiday Basket Delivery Dec. 3.
The basket will be filled with holiday items designed to help elderly residents enjoy a holiday meal, such as cooked hams, pies, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, green beans, sweet potato yams, Walmart gift cards and more. The Walmart located on 1098 Frederick Blvd donated towards the baskets, according to CSO.
Deputies will load the baskets at the Sheriff’s Office starting at 8 a.m…
