MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Hundreds of veterans gathered at the General Robert H. Recreation Center for the annual Veterans Expo, where over 30 local organizations helped support those in need before Thanksgiving.
The Myrtle Beach Vet Center hosted the event, where more than $3,000 worth of gift cards were handed out to those in need before the holidays.
Some of those who helped were the American legion, Sons of American legion, and American Legion Riders. Commander for the Sons of the American Legion Admirals League post 178 in Murrells Inlet, Tom Brady, said their organization handed out $1500 worth of gift cards from Food Lion and Walmart…
