Vinton, Va. (WFXR)- First responders in Roanoke County rescued two dogs from a burning home that left three residents displaced.
Fire crews responded to the structure fire, located in the 300 block of N. Maple Street, in Vinton, Monday afternoon. When they arrived on scene, firefighters encountered heavy smoke rising in the air. It took about ten minutes to get the fire under control.
Of the two dogs rescued from the home, one was rushed to an emergency veterinarian for life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, three of the residents’ five cats were found deceased…
