ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)- Acting U.S. Attorney Robert Tracci announced an eight-month federal prison sentence for a Honduran man with multiple DUI arrests and two previous removals by immigration agents.
Nelson Deras-Pineda, 43, was arrested on a felony DUI charge in June 2025 by officers with the Roanoke Police Department. It was his third DUI offense in the past ten years, according to the press release.
