A Boca Raton woman has been charged with drunk driving and fleeing police after officers noticed her “stumbling” to a vehicle while responding to a disturbance at the Strike 10 bowling alley.
Fernanda Blanco, 35, has been charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police, driving under the influence, providing officers with a false name, and refusing to submit to a breath test following the incident that took place Nov. 17, 2025 at about 1:55 a.m.
According to a police report, Boca Raton police were called to the bowling alley for a disturbance, at which point they saw a woman later identified as Blanco “stumbling toward” a black Volkswagen SUV and eventually hitting a curb before officers could stop her. Police caught up to the vehicle on Federal Highway after the driver made a U-turn during which she crossed over a solid-painted median. At a red light, the officer activated flashing lights and ordered the driver to put the vehicle in park, but she refused and is alleged to have taken off while the officer was attempting to grab the vehicle’s door handle…
