Suffolk workshop sheds light on Virginia’s new clean slate law, expunging records

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — By next summer, some Virginians with misdemeanor and felony convictions can petition to have their records sealed or expunged, a major step toward getting another chance in society.

This new law will make it easier for certain criminal records to be sealed, to provide Virginians a clean slate.
