Carmel PD Leads County-Wide Emergency Response Training with Over 400 First Responders

Last week, the Carmel Police Department, alongside various public safety partners, concluded a rigorous four-day, county-wide training designed to prepare for major incidents ranging from active threats to handling multiple victims. This intensive preparation is part of the ongoing effort to ensure that first responders are equipped to handle the worst-case scenarios with precision and teamwork.

According to a social media post by the Carmel Police Department, over 400 responders participated in the operation, which also involved more than 550 volunteer actors. Together, they carried out 12 full-scale scenarios to really put to test and to further develop their joint response capabilities. The department underscored the importance of readiness and teamwork in their announcement, stating that they are “Stronger together. Always ready.”
