Judge sets $250,000 cash bond for woman charged with murder in west Louisville shooting

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A judge on Monday set bond at $250,000 cash for a woman charged with murdering her live-in boyfriend in the Russell neighborhood last week.

It happened around 8:40 p.m. Nov. 21 at a residence in the 2700 block of Cedar Street, according to a news release from Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Sgt. Matt Sanders. That’s not far from South 26th Street and W. Muhammad Ali Boulevard.

When officers arrived at that location, they found the victim — identified as 27-year-old Isaiah J. Washington — with a gunshot wound to the face, according to the release. He was pronounced dead at the scene…
