Two rescued after car found upside-down in Brush Creek in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two people are in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after crashing a car into a Brush Creek early Sunday morning in Kansas City.

According to the Kansas City Police Department, at about 2:20 a.m., officers were called to Ward Parkway and Brush Creek Boulevard, in an area between State Line Road and the Country Club Plaza, on reports of a car that had crashed into Brush Creek.

When KCPD and crews with the Kansas City Fire Department arrived, they found two people inside an upside-down, four-door sedan and began their rescue operations…
