Apparent Dispute Led to Saturday Afternoon Shooting at North Lincoln Apartment

LINCOLN–(KFOR Nov. 24)–More details have been released by Lincoln Police into Saturday afternoon’s shooting at an apartment building near 9th and Belmont, where a 29-year-old Omaha man suffered what were deemed to be life-threatening gunshot wound.

On Monday morning, LPD Captain Ben Miller told reporters there were “a series of altercations” throughout the day between the 29-year-old victim and a 34-year-old Lincoln man, who are somehow related. Miller confirmed the victim suffered a single-gunshot wound.

“He is in the hospital on life-support and is not expected to survive,” Miller said…
