Bexar County DA’s Office says it reduced its felony case backlog by over 40%

The Bexar County District Attorney’s Office says it hired 23 new prosecutors and reduced its backlog of felony cases by 41%.

The update comes after concerns over prosecutor vacancies against a backdrop of an increasing backlog of unindicted felony cases within the DA’s Office.
