On November 9, 2025, Conroe Police responded to a fatal hit-and-run on the 200 block of North Loop 336 East in Conroe, Texas. Officers found Brett Wilborn, 46, deceased at the scene. Investigators determined that Wilborn was first struck by a dark-colored SUV that left the scene. He was then struck by a second vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle remained and called 911.
The Conroe Police Traffic Incident Reconstruction Unit, with help from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Real Time Crime Center, worked to identify the first vehicle. On November 21, officers found a 2017 burgundy Chevrolet Suburban at a residence on Phyllis Court. Stephan Santeli Castro, 35, was arrested for failing to stop and render aid. Angelica Flores, 61, was arrested for failing to report a felony.
Further investigation showed that Pastor Juan Murillo Wilson, 34, helped conceal the vehicle. He was arrested on November 24 for tampering with physical evidence. All suspects were interviewed at the Conroe Police Department…
