BATTLEFIELD, MO – A big new roundabout is in the works for an intersection in town.
MoDOT is rolling out plans for the new configuration on Route FF/West Bypass at Weaver Road. Improvements would also include widening Weaver from the new roundabout, east to Cloverdale Road.
Modot says the improvements will improve traffic flow and safety. The agency says it’s constructing this type of intersection because roundabouts are generally a more effective improvement than stoplights…
