RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – A Rio Rancho man who fired hundreds of rounds in the air has taken a plea deal. Last week, Eric Brusstar pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated assault on a peace officer with a deadly weapon.
In December of last year, Brusstar fired more than 700 rounds from his home near NM 528 and High Resort Blvd. He faces up to five years of supervised probation. A sentencing date has not been set…
