Former Albuquerque mayor, David Rusk, passes away

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Former Albuquerque Mayor David Rusk has died. Mayor Rusk served in the position from 1977 to 1981.

City of Albuquerque begins search for new KiMo Theatre operators

Rusk was honored earlier this year for his work as mayor. During his term, Rusk worked to promote the city’s public transit system. He also championed the renovation of the KiMo Theatre. The KiMo’s orchestra pit is named in his honor.
