Two suspects also wanted in other counties were arrested here last week after a larceny was reported at the Yadkinville Road store in Mocksville. Davie Sheriff’s deputies responded to that call about 1:20 p.m. on Nov. 19, and learned the suspects had left in a black Lexus with no license plate. Another deputy spotted and stopped that vehicle on I-40 at Mile Marker 180. Conrad Burke, 46, and Jacob Graham Adams, 19, both of Charlotte were detained. Burke was charged with attempted larceny. He was wanted out of Yadkin County for felony larceny, felony conspiracy, and shoplifting. He was wanted out of Mecklenburg County for failure to appear in court for assault on a female, misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, and interfering with emergency communications.
