ALGOMA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A 5-year-old died after being hit by a pickup truck in a neighborhood near Rockford Sunday morning, deputies say.
It happened just after 10:30 a.m. on a loop of Lady Lauren Drive NE off of Sir Charles Drive NE in Algoma Township, the Kent County Sheriff’s Office said. The child, who deputies say was in the road, was hit by a pickup truck as it rounded the bend.
