Will Thanksgiving bring freezing temps around Myrtle Beach, South Carolina?

As people around the Grand Strand prepare for Thanksgiving, some may be reaching for their coasts.

The Myrtle Beach area is expecting clear, sunny Thanksgiving and Black Friday weather, but temperatures will be colder than usual for this time of year. At night temperatures will near or drop below freezing.

“Right around Thanksgiving, it’s going to be turning cooler, so we’re going to have above normal temperatures in the lead up to Thanksgiving, ahead of a cold front that will be moving through Wednesday night,” said National Weather Service meteorologist Steve Pfaff…
