Greece, N.Y. — A Greece police officer has been terminated following an internal investigation into misconduct and insubordination claims.
The Greece Police Department said Officer Matthew Bachman secretly held multiple jobs while he was on paid leave from an on-duty injury he sustained in September 2023.
A 37-page disciplinary report obtained by 13WHAM in March stated that Bachman, a 17-year veteran of the department, collected $161,000 in pay, plus benefits, from external jobs during his time away from the department.
