HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM)– ZooAmerica in Hershey is mourning the loss of Murphy, the zoo’s cinnamon black bear.
According to ZooAmerica, Murphy was battling major gastrointestinal complications, in addition to other complications, which were likely associated with an advanced disease. The Zoo said all veterinary options were exhausted in their attempt to help Murphy, but the difficult decision to euthanize him was ultimately made.
