Driver hospitalized after crashing into Lehigh County home, chief says

A driver was hurt Sunday when he lost control of his car and crashed into a house in Coopersburg, police said.

Coopersburg Police Chief Anthony Struss told lehighvalleylive.com the accident began just before 8:30 p.m. in the first block of East Station Avenue. The 45-year-old driver from Philadelphia struck the foundation of the residence, the chief said.

The driver was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Salisbury Township for treatment of injuries. A condition was not immediately available Monday morning…
