Four men from Lafayette area arrested for alleged attempted smuggling into Grant Parish federal prison

COLFAX, La. (WNTZ) — Four Acadiana men were arrested following an investigation into an alleged attempt to smuggle contraband into a federal prison, according to the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the joint investigation with the Bureau of Prisons led to the arrests of Joshua Gray, 31, of Lafayette; Nathaniel Mouton, 36, of Lafayette; Kameryn Robertson, 20, of Breaux Bridge; and Christian Fitzgerald, 42, of Lafayette.

All four men were booked on charges of taking contraband into a penal institution. No additional details about the contraband or the circumstances of the attempted smuggling were immediately released.
