KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City man now faces life in prison after being found guilty in a 2024 shooting.
Tyron Sims, a 62-year-old man, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for first-degree murder and three years for armed criminal action for a deadly shooting that happened on March 20, 2024. Sims was found guilty on Sept. 11, 2025.
