Yamhill County Transit and Benton County kick off a pilot project called 99 Vine, offering public transit service between McMinnville and Eugene.
The long-awaited pilot project for public transit service along the 99W corridor will begin on Monday, November 24, 2025. This new service is fareless and will connect McMinnville to Eugene with stops in communities including Rickreall, Amity, Monmouth, Corvallis (OSU), Monroe, Junction City, and Eugene (Amtrak and UO). 99 Vine makes the Valley more accessible than ever with four trips in each direction every day.
If this grant-funded, six-month pilot project proves to be successful, YCT and Benton County are hopeful there will be support from agencies or communities to continue the service. Currently, there is no long-term funding for this service…
