SPARKS, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The city of Sparks is inviting the community to kick off the holidays with its annual Sparks Hometowne Christmas tree lighting and parade on Dec. 5 and Dec. 6.
The annual tree lighting ceremony, presented by Nugget Casino Resort, will be held Friday, Dec. 5, from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., next to the large gazebo on the corner of Victorian Avenue and Victorian Plaza Circle. The ceremony includes music from Copper Clover and free hot chocolate provided by Living Stones Church.
