Parlay 6 Brewing Co. Debuts First Barrel-Aged Beers

RENO, Nev. – Parlay 6 Brewing Co. will release its first barrel-aged beers on Wednesday, Nov. 26, debuting two small-batch imperial stouts at The Par by Parlay 6 Brewing Co. in Reno. Available just before Thanksgiving, the limited bottles are geared toward slow sipping, sharing and holiday gifting.

The new barrel-aged beers include:

  • The Continuum – Imperial stout aged 14 months in Willett and Bowman Brothers bourbon barrels, 14.2% ABV.
  • Trace of Darkness – Imperial stout aged 13 months in a single Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel, 14.3% ABV.

“This release has been a long time in the making,” said Mike Sotiriadis, co-founder and brewmaster at Parlay 6 Brewing Co. “We’ve spent more than a year letting these stouts rest in bourbon barrels. They’re big, barrel-forward beers meant to be opened on a special night, shared at the table or tucked away as a gift for the beer lover in your life.”
