VANCOUVER Wash. (KPTV) – A family was displaced from their home following a fire that broke out Sunday morning, according to the Vancouver Fire Department (VFD).
Firefighters were called to the scene of a house fire on Northeast 4th Circle in east Vancouver shortly after 7 a.m. Sunday.
According to the VFD, neighbors called 911 to report that flames were coming from the roof of the home. The neighbors were able to alert the occupants, who were able to escape and were not injured during the incident.
Crews arrives to find smoke and flames coming from the front of the house, but were able to extinguish the bulk of the blaze within 10 minutes of arrival. They had to cut holes in the roof for ventilation, as the fire had spread to the attic…
