ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) – A Rotterdam man accused of driving while drunk and causing a deadly crash on Everett Road is facing a charge of aggravated vehicular homicide.
Matthew Merriman was arraigned in Albany County Court on Monday. Investigators said Merriman, 29, struck a vehicle as it was leaving the I-90 off-ramp onto Everett Road around 5:45 p.m. on Sept. 30.
Officers observed signs of impairment, and police said Merriman had a blood alcohol concentration of more than 0.18%. The legal limit is 0.08%…
