LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said oversight of a massive data center project in Washtenaw County appears to be a “rush job.”
“Michigan will be the guinea pig, apparently, for an enormous project like this, an enormous amount of energy and the least-known of any large project anywhere in America,” Nessel said in a press conference with environmental groups on Tuesday. “Is that safe to say?” Michael Moody, division chief in the AG’s office, said it is “unheard of.”
Nessel, a Democrat, said it “begs the question: ‘Why even have a regulator at all?’”…
