Alan Triana, Brother of Man Involved in Miami Police Shootout, Charged in Alleged Road Rage Shooting

The Miami Police Department has reported the arrest of Alan Henry Triana, 38, the sibling of a man involved in a fatal shootout with Miami officers last month. Triana was apprehended following a road rage incident in Miami where he allegedly discharged a firearm at another driver, as per Local 10 News.

Trouble began for Triana, when the victim honked his horn at Triana’s white Chevrolet Corvette and subsequently, was allegedly met with an aggressive gesture and a pointed black handgun. As detailed by the victim, Triana followed him, and during a real-time phone call with law enforcement, opened fire on his vehicle. A piece of evidence key to pinpointing Triana at the scene of the incident was his GPS ankle monitor data, as he had been out on bond in connection with different charges. NBC Miami reported that police identified Triana’s Corvette parked at his residence and later detained him.

Investigations leading to his arrest included the victim’s dash camera footage which captured the Corvette before the shots were fired, NBC Miami states.
