A lovesick 25-year-old Villager has been arrested after allegedly stalking a married woman at her place of employment.
Christian Michael Metevier, 25, who lives at 1509 E. Schwartz Blvd. on the Historic Side of The Villages, was being held without bond at the Sumter County Detention Center after violating a court order which had forbidden him from getting near the woman, who is a manager at Publix at Trailwinds Village in Wildwood. Metevier, who was taken into custody on Monday, is her former co-worker, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.
Metevier began showing up at the store, including inquiring about the woman at the customer service desk and getting in an elevator to go to an upstairs office where she worked. He began leaving her voice messages and sent her a message through Facebook messenger, indicating he was “excited” about the possibility of marrying her. He called her, “princess.”
Metevier sent the woman a nude photo of himself on Nov. 13. He again referenced the fact he had hoped to marry her…
