Man arrested in Downtown Pensacola for murders of 2 teens in Alabama

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — Authorities arrested a 22-year-old man in Downtown Pensacola Monday night who was wanted for the murder of two teenagers in Wilcox County, Alabama.

Edwin Hyde was booked into Escambia County Jail around 11:30 p.m. He will be extradited to Wilcox County, Alabama, for trial.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says it was alerted that Hyde had an active warrant for the murders of a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old, whose bodies were located on Saturday with gunshots wounds near Ralph Ervin Road in Pine Hill, Alabama…
