Web Exclusive: The Printing House Nashville honors city’s past

The Printing House Nashville, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, brings a design-forward new landmark to the city’s South Bank district. Set just blocks from Printer’s Alley, the Ryman Auditorium and Honky Tonk Highway, the hotel blends mid-century influences with a narrative rooted in Nashville’s creative past.

According to GM Gayle Wilkinson, the design of The Printing House draws inspiration from Nashville’s rich printing heritage and creative energy, “from the block ‘P’ logo inspired by letterpress fonts to the textured concrete façade reminiscent of printing plates.”

The vision extends indoors, where warm colors and organic materials tie the narrative together. “Inside, mid-century influences meet materials like rattan, walnut and brass, creating a space that feels both rooted in craftsmanship and refreshingly modern,” she said.
