The Rocklin Police Department arrested two Alameda County people for various charges, including felony theft with priors, grand theft, felony conspiracy and felony drug possession.
“Unfortunately for Alameda County residents, Tina Addi (40 y/o) and Erica Rojo (36 y/o), they learned that our COPPS Unit doesn’t play around,” Rocklin Police reported in a social media post. “What started as a simple shoplifter (Rojo) in custody call at Walmart turned into a felonious investigation after COPPS Officers discovered there was a second outstanding suspect (Addi) waiting in a U-Haul van outside. COPPS Officers found an unoccupied U-Haul van with copious bags and boxes of suspected stolen merchandise like a mobile clearance aisle. In the meantime Addi attempted to leave the area in a getaway Uber … to the Target store across the street … where she changed her outfit into fresh stolen clothing from Ross Dress for Less. Officers foiled her plans and arrested Addi in front of Target.”
The post stated the freshly stolen clothes were taken away for an orange outfit from the South Placer Jail…
