SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A man who worked at a state-funded anti-violence program was sentenced on weapons and drug charges in Onondaga County Court on Monday morning.
Ahmed Abdi pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon and sale of a controlled substance. Each charge carries a sentence of six years in prison. Those sentences will run concurrently.
