Over the past weekend, a local resident from Frisco made a long journey to downtown McKinney and was taken aback by the sight of numerous inflatable turkeys. The resident, who shared their experience on social media, stated that they lost count of the turkeys after spotting around 20 on Virginia Street. The trend of inflatable turkeys was later explained in a story aired on NBC5.
