Woman charged with assaulting Eden Prairie police at movie theater

A Roseville woman is accused of assaulting two Eden Prairie police officers during a disturbance at a movie theater on Nov. 16, according to a felony complaint filed in Hennepin County District Court.

June Beverly Gee, 30, is charged with one felony count of fourth-degree assault of a peace officer. She is accused of biting one officer’s hand — the officer was wearing a glove — and kicking another officer in the jaw, causing a concussion, while they attempted to arrest her, the complaint states.

Police were called to AMC Eden Prairie Mall 18 at 11:14 p.m. after Gee allegedly created a disturbance with an employee who would not provide an extra container because of store policy. A theater manager told her she needed to leave, and Gee refused, telling him to call police, according to the complaint…
