WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — United Methodist Open Door has launched its 35th annual Turkey Drive in an effort to ensure Wichita families have what they need to prepare a Thanksgiving meal.
The drive supports the organization’s Community Food Ministry, which hands out holiday food boxes days before the holiday. Volunteers spent today sorting and sacking food as families lined up for assistance. This will continue Tuesday and Wednesday from 9-11:45 a.m. and 1-3:45 p.m.
