An unusual encounter at a Chevron gas station on South Willamette has sparked a heated discussion on social media. A customer shared their experience of being yelled at by the station owner, which began when they entered the seemingly empty station to pay for gas. The owner, who was in the restroom at the time, returned and started berating the customer for not noticing a hand-drawn restroom sign below the open sign.
