Man accused in Puyallup WinCo stabbing to remain jailed with $75,000 bail set by court

PUYALLUP, Wash. — The man accused of stabbing a Puyallup WinCo Foods grocery store employee during a robbery, then leading deputies on a chase before crashing into a van will stay in jail, for now.

KOMO News cameras were at Joshua Mineer’s first court appearance on Tuesday, where the stabbing victim said Mineer’s actions were reckless, and urged the Pierce County Superior Court Commissioner to keep him locked up. The commissioner ruled Mineer be held on a $75,000 bail.

That victim is a WinCo Foods loss prevention officer who reportedly tried stopping Mineer from stealing and was then stabbed and cut with a box cutter…
