LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Jamie Leek left Wisconsin in 2017 with plans to come to Las Vegas. He stopped communicating with his family sometime in 2021 or 2022, and authorities now have some answers as to why.
Human remains found at the base of a 250-foot red rock formation in Washington City, Utah, have been identified as James “Jamie” Ashton Leek. The remains were found in August 2022, and a standard DNA search found no matches. The remains became known as Washington City John Doe (2022).
